Faculty Scholarship Register
The Faculty Scholarship Register, hosted on the library website, promotes the research and artistic accomplishments of ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty members and fosters the continuing development of the institutional repository , and the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Author's Collection .
Twice a year, faculty members are asked to send a list of their publications to Mary Wu, the Digital Scholarship/Metadata Librarian. Journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, and media that comply with Open Access policies are posted on the website of the institutional repository, , and many are available to download free.
The Library also acquires two copies of books authored or edited by ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty. One copy is added to the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Authors Collection, located in the library archives, and the second copy is added to of one of the library’s circulating collections.
The Faculty Scholarship Register provides users with a one-stop content discovery tool for ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty scholarship. Currently, the works of close to one hundred faculty members are listed on the Register, with more being added continuously. This year alone, there were over 141,000 downloads of material held within the repository.
