How do I place an order and get my file to you?

Step 1: Save as PDF

All files must be saved as PDFs when submitting an order. We cannot print from JPEGs or other image files, PowerPoint slides, Word Documents, Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop files.

Need help with this? Use our Preparing Files for Printing link and review our step-by-step walkthroughs on how to save your file as a PDF.

Step 2: Look it Over

Open up the file to double-check everything. Is the document the right size? Does it look correct? Not too blurry? Nothing cut off or missing? Background colors in place? What you see is how your file will print!

Step 3: Email It

Send an email to copycenter@rwu.edu with the file attached. Include:

  • Name and contact information
  • Due date and/or time
  • Number of copies
  • Print size
  • Color or black & white
  • Special instructions: double sided, stapled, hole punched, colored or special paper.

Please email us your file as an attachment. We cannot access Google Docs, university network drives, or thumb drives to get files for printing.

Step 4: Provide GL Number

When we receive your print request email, we will send a reply email with your total order price. We accept cash or checks.

Once you have paid for your print request, we will begin processing your order and should have it ready for pick up shortly!

How will I know my print order is ready?

You can expect your order to be ready by the due date you give us.

We try to contact people when their jobs are completed, but come in even if you haven't heard from us. We are always available by email at copycenter@rwu.edu or by phone during business hours at x3147, if you would like the check on the status of your order.
