SophoMORE Year Experience
The SophoMORE Year Experience at ܽƵ is dedicated to assisting sophomore students as they transition to their second year of college. Through a combination of services, programs, curricular and co-curricular activities, students are encouraged to participate in various academic, professional and leadership opportunities to enhance their experience at Roger and serves as a gateway between their transition and future goals.

ܽƵ provides extensive guidance for undergraduate students seeking a range of prestigious fellowships. Fellowships are awards offered by organizations outside of ܽƵ. Many provide financial support as well as invaluable opportunities to enhance research, academic goals, and career plans.
Fellowships are available for sophomores (in addition to other years), both domestic and international, and for all majors.

The Spiegel Center for Global and International Programs is here to help students navigate the broad scope of ܽƵ’s study abroad opportunities. If you are considering studying abroad, give yourself time to plan and prepare for this amazing opportunity.
Currently there are dozens of programs that students can take advantage of. These programs offer a wide variety of experiences that range from semester terms as a visiting student at one of our overseas partner universities to field based programs giving students hands-on experiences. Students also have summer and winter, short-term program options available as well. Engage with the local cultures by participating in global service opportunities, internships and other immersive experiences. We have students gaining valuable global experiences in Italy, Spain, Ireland, France, Australia, South Korea, China, Spain, Costa Rica, Greece, and Germany to name just a few locations.
